When looking for an appropriate picture to accompany my post i stumbled across this edited photograph of Lindsay Lohan, it's meant to show what she could end up looking like if she continued living her lifestyle the way she was. The photos below show what she looked like when filming the movie Mean Girls, she was still in very good shape although she maintained curves, this compared to the other photograph taken a while later.

Emily's blog a moment on the lips was really interesting to read and I found we had many of the same opinions. I agree with the way she believes the media have created a terrible image of women at the moment with size 0 being the new 'IT' body type to maintain! I was really annoyed the other day when reading an article in a magazine about the fact that Micha Barton had been approached by a weight loss company wanting her to be the face for the front cover; when previous stars were Kirsty Alley and Queen Latifha. I mean don't get me wrong Kirsty Alley now looks incredible! She worked really hard to get her body back into shape, however I really don't think that Micha Barton should be placed in the same category as the photograph below is the one of her where she appears to look fat!

She still looks amazing, in fact I think she looks better then she did previously when she was extremely skinny!

However Micha was criticized in earlier years by the media for being 'to thin' and pictures were plastered all over magazine stating she suffered with anorexia! So really it seems to me that she can't win either they think she's ill and too thin or a pig and too fat!

Emily's blog reminded me of one of my friends, shes a stunning girl with a wonderful personality! However for some unknown reason her boyfriend seems to think that shes fat when shes a size 10! Her boyfriend has even offered to buy her jewelery if she loses a stone! This kind of behaviour is ridiculous and I'm happy to say that she is know longer with this boy although he was the person to end their relationship she is definitely the one who is better off without!

Emily's photo that she has used in her blog, of the girl who's appearance is different to the one shown in the mirror is a great representation of how some people see themselves. People just create this whole other image of themselves to the one that others see, they are know longer able to see the beauty they maintain!
