OK this is only going to be short and sweet but I saw that Vicki had done a blog about drinking and driving so I thought that I would comment about it :)
I think that everything she said about drink driving was true and I share a number of the same opinions as her.
I must admit getting my driving licence was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, and I would never risk losing it because it took me so damn long to get it! I know exactly what Vick means about being 'dopey' I've driven in bus lanes and not realised before so adding alcohol to the equation would just be asking for a disaster in my case!
I always think that the Alcohol adverts that are on the telly at the moment are really clever and always put things into perspective! The one where the man imitates all the different people after he drink drives is really clever, he loses his licence, job and wife and then at the end asks himself whether its really worth it. I just don't think that it is, there is no need to cause danger to yourself and others when you can just choose to leave the car on the drive! :D
Or like Vick said at the pub or a friends house!
